Sam Rockwell est un acteur américain né le 5 novembre 1968 à Daly City, Californie (États-Unis) et réside actuellement à New York.

Sam Rockwell a été reconnu par le public grâce à son rôle dans La Ligne Verte de Franck Darabont tiré du Livre de Stephen King où il tenait le rôle de William Wharton dit "Billy the Kid ou Wild Bill" un pédophile psychopathe qui assassinat deux fillettes, et dans son rôle de Chuck Barris dans Confessions d'un homme dangereux.
