Rule Britannia est un chant patriotique britannique, issu du poème, écrit par James Thomson et mis en musique par Thomas Arne le 1er août 1740.
En 1836, le compositeur allemand Richard Wagner en réalisa une transposition pour grand orchestre, connue sous le nom de Ouverture Rule Britannia.
Il est devenu l’hymne officiel de Grande-Bretagne. Il est notamment utilisé par les fans du club écossais de football protestant et loyaliste des Rangers de Glasgow.
