Richard Powers, né le 18 juin 1957 à Evanston dans l'Illinois aux États-Unis, est un écrivain américain.
Biographie [modifier]
Après quelques années d'études de physique, Richard Powers commence des études de littérature à l'Université de l'Illinois où il obtient son Master of Arts en 1979. Il devient un auteur reconnu et à succès aux États-Unis au début des années 1990, avec des romans explorant la relation entre sciences (physique, génétique), technologie, et art (musique). La Chambre aux échos reçoit en 2006 le National Book Award.
