Michael Imperioli est un acteur, producteur et scénariste américain né le 26 mars 1966 à Mount Vernon, New York (États-Unis).

Biographie [modifier]
Michael Imperioli est né de parents Italo-américains et est de confession catholique. Il est principalement connu pour son rôle de Christopher Moltisanti dans la série TV Les Soprano (originalement appelée The Sopranos). Sa performance d'acteur lui a notamment valu 1 victoire et 5 nominations aux Emmy Awards ainsi que plusieurs autres nominations parmi lesquelles une nomination aux Golden Globe Awards.
En 2008, il est également au casting d'une autre série, Life on Mars, l'adaptation américaine de la série britannique du même nom. À noter sa prestation de Spider, le serveur qui se fait tirer dans le pied par le mafieux psychopathe, Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci) dans Les Affranchis.
Depuis 2010, il est l'un des personnages principaux de la série policière Detroit 1-8-7 produite par la chaîne ABC et diffusée en France par Canal+.

En 1995, il se marie avec Victoria Chlebowski avec laquelle il a 2 garçons. Il vit à New York, dans le quartier de TriBeCa.
