Bryan Forbes est un réalisateur de cinéma britannique, également acteur, scénariste et producteur, né John Theobald Clark à Londres le 22 juillet 1926 et mort le 8 mai 2013 à Virginia Water (Surrey). Écrivain, il est l'auteur de deux récits autobiographiques et de nombreux romans à succès.
