Edgar Wallace est un écrivain, scénariste, réalisateur et journaliste britannique né le 1er avril 1875 à Greenwich, Londres, décédé le 10 février 1932 à Hollywood (É.-U.).

Né à Greenwich, Edgar Wallace fut écrivain et journaliste. Il a publié plus de 170 livres. Il a commencé à publié à partir de 1905. Il publiera de très nombreux ouvrages, tantôt policier, tantôt de science-fiction. Nombreux sont ses livres qui ont été adpatés au cinéma.
