Louis Joseph Gasnier est un réalisateur, scénariste, producteur et acteur français né le 15 septembre 1875 à Paris (France) et mort le 15 février 1963 à Hollywood (États-Unis).
Après avoir réalisé plusieurs films muets mettant en scène Max Linder, il partit au debut de la Première Guerre mondiale pour les États-Unis, où il fit l'essentiel de sa carrière sous le nom américanisé de Louis J. Gasnier.
