Mike Farrel était un acteur très prisé pour des rôles dans des séries TV, notamment la série M*A*S*H où il fit une apparition au cours de la quatrième saison et durant lequel il resta jusqu'à la fin de la série (soit onze saisons). Malgré une carrière dans les séries il joua également dans de nombreux films comme, par exemple, "Le Lauréat".
