Neil McDonald est un joueur d'échecs anglais et un auteur de livres sur les échecs né le à Gravesend dans le Kent, grand maître international depuis 1996.

Biographie et carrière[modifier | modifier le code]
Neil McDonald obtint le titre de maître international en 1986 et le titre de grand maître international en 1996.
Neil McDonald remporta trois tournois à Londres en 1984, le tournoi de Budapest (Eliekes) en 1995 et 2003, Dublin et Londres en 1997 et Hampstead en 1998[2].
Il a participé au championnat d'Europe d'échecs junior de 1986, marquant 6,5 points sur 13[3] et à la Coupe d'Europe des clubs d'échecs en 1998 et 1999[4].
