Maxime Saada, born in 1970 in Paris[1], is CEO of Canal+ Group, Chairman & CEO of Dailymotion, Chairman of Studiocanal, Gameloft Board Member.
Biography[modifier | modifier le code]
Maxime Saada has a degree at Sciences-Po Paris in Political Science (1992). He went on a MBA from HEC (1994).
Maxime Saada started his career in 1994 as a civil servant for French Prime Minister in Houston then in New-York City to attract US investors to France. In 1999, he joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant.
In 2004, Maxime Saada joined the Canal+ Group as VP Strategy. He contributed to the merger between TPS and Canal+ Group[2]. In June 2007 he became VP Marketing and Head of the new entity Canalsat (French Pay television service -5 million subscribers). In 2009 he became VP Sales in addition to his position as Head of Canalsat.
2011: Became Executive Vice President of Canal+ Group, in charge of Distribution.
2012: Became a new member of the management board of Canal+ France.
2013: Became Executive Vice President, Deputy Managing Director of Canal + Group, in charge of editing the Pay TV channels (Canal+, Ciné+, Comédie+, Planète+, etc… more than 20 channels).
2006-2013: Was Associate master of conferences in the Master of Finance & Strategy at Sciences Po Paris. During this time he also served on the Board of Directors of Sciences Po[3][4].
2015: Named the CEO of the Canal+ Group by the Mother Company Vivendi[5][6].
2016: Named Chairman and CEO of Dailymotion[7] (in replacement of Cédric Tournay) while retaining his role as CEO of the Canal+ Group. In June 2016 also named at the board of Gameloft[8][9].
February 2018: in addition to his previous roles Saada is formally named Chairman of Studiocanal[10][11].
