The Afterman: Ascension est le sixième album du groupe américain de rock progressif Coheed and Cambria publié le 9 octobre 2012 par Hundred Handed et Everything Evil. C'est la première partie d'un double album dont la deuxième partie, The Afterman: Descension sortira en février 2013^[1]. L'enregistrement a duré sept mois entre 2011 et 2012 et le premier single "Key Entity Extraction I: Domino the Destitute" est sorti en août 2012. L'album prolonge l'histoire de The Amory Wars en se focalisant sur le personnage de Sirius Amory.
