Wanuri Kahiu est une jeune réalisatrice du Kenya. Elle est née à Nairobi. En 2001, elle a obtenu un diplôme BSc en sciences de la gestion de l'université de Warwick. Elle a ensuite rejoint le programme de maîtrise en direction de cinéma et télévision de l'université de Californie à Los Angeles. Elle a reçu une distinction en tant que réalisateur à Motion Pictures of America Associates Award and the Hollywood Foreign Press Award. WANURI KAHIU - BIOGRAPHY.
