Paratheuma est un genre d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Dictynidae[1].
Distribution[modifier | modifier le code]
Les espèces de ce genre se rencontrent en Océanie, en Asie de l'Est, en Iran et en Amérique tropicale[1].

Systématique et taxinomie[modifier | modifier le code]
Ce genre a été décrit par Bryant en 1940 dans les Gnaphosidae. Il est placé dans les Desidae par Platnick en 1977[2].
Corteza[3] a été placé en synonymie par Platnick en 1977[2].
Swainsia[4] a été placé en synonymie par Beatty et Berry en 1988[5].
Litisedes[6] a été placé en synonymie par Yaginuma en 1990[7].
