Connected sport[modifier | modifier le code]

Connected sport is a trend originating from the high-tech equipment and connected sensors that monitor athletic performance. Just as the Connected health phenomena allows people to better self-manage their care, technology is also becoming a part of regular sports practice to track athletes’ physical activity: frequency, intensity and progress.

Sport trackers[modifier | modifier le code]

Each sport has a dedicated digital gear, also known as sport sensor or tracker[1]. The term describes electronic monitoring devices, such as sport sensors that are synced, in many cases remotely via Bluetooth, to a computer or a smartphone for data tracking and performance measurement.
