TopSolid is a computer-aided design and manufacturing software package.

In 1980, within the framework of internal needs, the Missler Mécanique company began developing the software with the help of the Olivetti company. Four years later, the growing demand for IT solutions led to the creation of the sister company Missler Informatique. In 1988, a specific software solution for mold makers was integrated into the software. In 2001, technical solutions were developed for the wood and furniture industries. This year all entities in Missler Software merge. In 2009, Missler Software launched its new software, TopSolid 7.
Published by Missler Software until 2019, the publisher changed its name to TopSolid SAS [1] . Among the largest organizations using TopSolid solutions are THALES, SAFRAN, Valeo, and Nissan . TopSolid has also developed its presence in French high schools and universities.

TopSolid is an integrated CAD/CAM and ERP solution. TopSolid is a software suite including:
- TopSolid'Design: Generalist CAD.
- TopSolid'Cut, intended for sheet metal .
- TopSolid'Steel, intended for metalwork.
- TopSolid'Wood, intended for wood .
- TopSolid'WoodCam, intended for machining wood.
- TopSolid'Planner, layout configurator.
- TopSolid'Mold, intended for molding parts.
- TopSolid'Progress, intended for the design of press tools.
- TopSolid'Cam: CAM.
- TopSolid'Wire: Control of wire machines.
- TopSolid'Erp[2]: business management.
- TopSolid'Pdm: Collaborative work via local and/or external network. (Required: SQL database).
- TopSolid'Fea: Calculation of resistance by finite elements.
- TopSolid'ShopFloor: integrated workshop management.
- TopSolid'PartCosting: technical specifications.
- TopSolid'Inspection: bubbling and dimension control.
- TopSolid'Virtual: 3D visualization and VR accessible to all.
Geometric formats[modifier | modifier le code]
TopSolid uses the Parasolid exact geometric modeler. It is a software tool for creating geometry, either in wireframe in a plane, or in 3d in a three-dimensional space. It is able to read and write in all open formats on the market, as well as in some proprietary formats, such as CATIA 's [ ref. desired ].
