Les Sironidae sont une famille d'opilions cyphophthalmes. On connaît près d'une soixantaine d'espèces dans sept genres.
Distribution
Les espèces de cette famille se rencontrent en Europe, en Amérique du Nord, en Turquie et au Japon[1].
