Benjamin Shane Bacon is an american golf reporter for FOX SPORTS. Bacon is primarily know on twitter where he has 50.7K followers.
With FOX
[modifier | modifier le code]Shane Bacon has done a deal of golf tournaments, but some of the more dominate ones are The Masters Tournament, The U.S Open Tournament, The Open Championship, and The PGA Championship. He primary works with his partner, Brad Faxon. He also is possibly going to sideline report some NFL football games in the 2018-2019 season. He has done sideline reporting before, but it was at the college level.
Family
[modifier | modifier le code]Bacon currently lives in Phoenix,AZ with his wife Cindy Bacon and french bulldog, Harlow. He lived in Arizona because he was a student in The University of Arizona. He and wife Cindy moved from Arizona to Connecticut to do a show on Back9Network Called The Turn. Once the show was canceled he moved back to Phoenix, where he was eventually hired by FOX. He grew up in Marshall, TX with sister, (Alicia) mother, (Eliza) and father (Monte). Other close relatives include cousins (Taylor and Merrill) uncles and aunt (Diane, Bennett, and Doug) nephews (Sam and Jack) and half sister (Monica).
Other things
[modifier | modifier le code]He hosts the golf podcast called "The Turn" were he talks to golfers past and present, and updates followers about the world of golf. He has caddied for LPGA golfers Erica Blasburg, and Irene Cho.
