Sacha Tarantovich, born August 21, 1984 in Leningrad, is a Franco-Russian actress. She is particularly known for having played Commander Irina Kovaleff in the television series Plus belle la vie produced by France 3. She recently starred in the series Munch and Le Voyageur.

Sacha Tarantovich, Franco-Russian actress, was born on August 21, 1984 in Leningrad, Russia. Daughter of a dancer, she spent all her youth in her hometown. At the age of 5, she begins piano lessons which she will practice for fifteen years. Her childhood was marked by the divorce of her parents when she was 11 years old. As a teenager, she was also introduced to hip-hop. She turned to applied language studies.

At the age of 20, after a degree in applied languages, Sacha Tarantovich arrived in France to improve his French and enrolled in modern letters at the University of Orléans. She finally chooses to try her luck in an artistic way. In 2008, the young woman joined the Cours Florent in Paris, where she trained for three years. She started at the theater then scoured the castings but the beginnings were difficult[1],[2].

Persevering, she landed roles in several short films. In 2015, she co-wrote with her compatriot Iurii Leuta the script for a short film entitled Son. Gradually, she got noticed and appeared in several TV movies or series such as Followers, Les Interns, Deux Sœurs[3]… In 2019, while she was filming the series Cheyenne et Lola with Charlotte Le Bon[4],[5 ], her agent contacts her to audition for a recurring role in a series. This is how she obtained the role of Irina Kovaleff, in the France 3 series, Plus belle la vie[6],[7],[8] . In 2021, she joined the cast of the fourth season of the Munch series, broadcast on TF1[9].
