*Le Prinsenvlag est le drapeau original des Pays-Bas. L'orange, couleur du Royaume des Pays-Bas, colorait originellement la bande supérieure du drapeau national(image), puis fut changé au XVIIe siècle par le rouge, pour une meilleure visibilité du drapeau en mer.

Excuse me for writing in English. The Dutch flag is not called the Prinsenvlag. The w:nl:Prinsenvlag is an orange-white-blue tricolour, but in the Dutch flag the upper band is red. Please see the English or Dutch version of this article.

Hi, an IP user recently changed the date in |adoption= to 1568. This is probably due to a YouTube video, but I suggest changing the dates again to the ones on en.wiki. I can’t do it as it contains words (not just dates) and I know about 5 words in French. But this is the code:
