Sorry, but I do not speak enough French! The name/lemma is Rallycross, not Rallyecross, also in France. The sport was born on February 4 1967 at Lydden Circuit near Dover – which was about 3/4 of a year earlier than the due to foot-and-mouth disease cancelled RAC Rally 1967. Therefore you cannot bring the birth of Rallycross in straight connection with that Rally. Only the first ever international Rallycross event (on November 25 1967, also at Lydden Circuit) has something to do with the RAC and its cancellation. By the way, Rallycross was first brought to France and to the tiny village of Lohéac near Rennes in 1976. Regards from Germany! EL aka RX-Guru ;o)
