Dear Sir, I have just seen that my change on the Lycette Darsonval page has been cancelled. WhI do not understand, and the reasons are not clearer.But allow me to introduce myself, My name is François Perron, I am the son of the brother (André Perron) of Lycette Darsonval who was my godmother. You understand when I saw this big mistake on my aunt’s biography I could not help but correct it. I spent a lot of time with her and I heard her life, her career told more than once. Mademoiselle Darsonval returned to the ballet school of the opera at the age of twelve and a half (as she liked to say) her teacher was Miss Couatte. Nicolas Guerra was at the time Master of Ballet. Miss Darsonval joined as second quadrille at fifteen years old. At the age of twenty-three one could not enter the dance school. Once in the ballet she took private lessons with Mademoiselle Zambelli. At the age of nineteen she left the opera to go to Africa with her husband and my father. She reintegrated the corps de ballet as a small subject in 1935, four years after her departure

I am the legal guardian of my aunt’s physical and intellectual property and I assure you that cancelling my amendment to make the same mistake is a mistake. I do not have any interest on pursuing this topic, just wanted to point out that your sources are dubious or that you didnt read her book Ma vie sur les pointes.
