Almost everything is wrong[modifier le code]

Sorry for writing in English, my French is not good enough to write a text. There are several big mistakes in the article: Conrad III. was not emperor, but king; Weinsberg only became part of Württemberg in 1504, in 1140 the counts of Württemberg were far away, and certainly not in Weinsberg; and most importantly, the town of Weinsberg didn't even exist yet in 1140, only the castle of Weinsberg already existed, and it was the castle that Conrad laid siege to. There also was no duchess there. Some poems, theater plays etc. have the wife of duke Welf VI. present during the siege, but that is fiction, not historical fact. --Rosenzweig (d) 28 février 2010 à 02:00 (CET)[répondre]

Welf VI. is the duke referred to in the first versions of the article, who claimed the castle as his, whereas the king claimed it as his. That's why the duke (who wasn't present during the siege) and the king fought over the castle, as part of their larger conflict. The duke tried to drive the king and his allies off, and only when this attempt failed the castle finally had to surrender on December 21st 1140. --Rosenzweig (d) 28 février 2010 à 02:05 (CET)[répondre]

Hi Rosenzweig, thanks for your remarks, and I'm sure members of Germany and History projets will come and correct all mistakes quite soon. Regards, --Floflo (d) 28 février 2010 à 02:07 (CET)[répondre]

de:Weinsberg ?

Four months later, and nothing has happened. I have tried to correct the mistakes myself. --Rosenzweig (d) 3 juillet 2010 à 12:30 (CEST)[répondre]
