Hello,

I don't want to create an account here in the French Wikipedia, but I am the major author (Bylot) of Chapins English article.

I want to suggest to describe him in the "header" as a "former" (ancienne?) actor, since he left this occupation in late 1959 already, and there are no further roles known/recorded to date.

"...est un acteur américain ..." could be able to be misunderstood, as if he is still employed in this business.
