Construction[modifier le code]

Code des pièces : la première lettre (r, h, e, a, g, c, s) désigne la nature de la pièce, et la deuxième (l ou d) son camp et donc sa couleur. There are two basics of the images: one being the type of piece, one being the type of position. Their naming convention is as follows: depending on the type of image, they together will form the entire image name, but start with xiangqi- and end with a unique four or five letter code. Color will either be light (red) or dark (black), and will be denoted by either a "l" or "d" respectively, in the second character placename in the code. The type of piece, such as general or chariot (rook) is denoted in the first character of the code. The type of position occupies the last two or three character places.
