Jean-Francois Caron (né le 29 juin, 1982) [1] est l'homme fort et powerlifter du Canada.[2]
Powerlifting
Caron détiens le record du monde pour le Soulevé de terre pour la WPA Powerlifting organization. Caron a soulevé de terre 850 livres le 14 mars, 2010 au championa provinciale à Sherbrooke en convertisan 308 livres weight class, lorsqu'il pesait que 280 livres[3].
World's Strongest Man
Caron a participé quatre fois à la du World Strongest Man concours en 2008, 2011, 2012 et 2014. Il atteint la finale en 2012 et 2014, 2ème de la qualification en 2012 avance sur Derek Poundstone. Il a terminé la finale en 8e place au classement général en 2012 et 11e en 2014[4].
Canada's Strongest Man
Caron a gagané le titre de Canada's Strongest Man 4 fois consécutives de 2011-2014.
Strongman Champions League
Caron a terminé deuxième durant les évèvements Strongman Champions League au Canada & Latvia in 2011.[5] Caron recently finished 2nd again at the 2011 SCL Finals in Sarajevo, Bosnia on Feb. 7, 2012, and 4th overall for the 2011/2012 SCL season.[6]
North America's Strongest Man
En 2012 Caron a gagné le titre de North America's Strongest Man après avoir terminé deuxième les deux années d'avant.
