OCP Policy Center[modifier | modifier le code]
OCP Policy Center is a non-profit think-tank founded in 2008 in Rabat (Morocco). The organization is dedicated to “contribute to knowledge sharing and to enrich reflection on key economic and international relations issues that are considered essential to the economic and social development of Morocco, and more broadly, to the African continent”. To fulfill its mission, OCP Policy Center leans on academic or independant researchs and an important newtwork of partners and leading research associates. Those supports are mainly used to « produce policy-oriented solutions in the spirit of a public good and a platform for open exchange and debate ».
Even though the Moroccan think-tank aspires to participate to worldwide debates on four main thematics (agriculture, environment and food security, economic and social development, commodity economics and finance), it always sets, as an African middle-income country organization, its contributions in a south-to-south frame. Moreover, OCP Policy Center takes part in the “Global Morocco”, a program dedicated to understanding key strategic regional and global evolutions shaping the future of Morocco.
