Merge are an Alternative Rock band from Paris, France that were founded in November 2011. The band consists of Max Rodriguez-medallo (lead vocals), Julien Ho-tong (guitar, pinao and Electronics), Sebastien Flynn-Goze (bass and vocals) and Kaz Yamane (drums and samples live).

Formation and touring (2012–present)[modifier | modifier le code]
In March 2012 Merge released their debut EP “Transmission” with their former vocalist (Anthony Hamin), which was followed by a series of shows, at venues all around France and Europe, with bands such as Dance Gavin Dance, La Dispute, Touche Amore, Devil Sold his Soul and Funeral for a Friend. This increased their reputation rapidly around Europe thanks to their solid live performances. In April 2013 Merge hit the stage at Groezrock Festival in Belgium alongside bands such as Rise Against, Billy Talent, Bad Religion, Pennywise and Bring Me The Horizon. At the end of 2013, the band announced their signing with the US label 'Red Cord Records' and their 1st full length release "Elysion" was out on February 18th 2014 wordwide. Furthermore the band toured across Europe in May and June 2014 supporting acts such as Limp Bizkit, Our Last Night, Architects, Enter Shikari, Circa Survive and The Used.
Max joined the band by the summer of 2015 and started to compose with Julien in a whole different way, giving the band a brand new face to the rock music.
Merge has been on tour across Europe in October 2016 with Don Broco for 21 different venues. Merge's 2nd album 'INEFFABLE' has been released on December 2nd 2016 in Paris at La Flèche d'Or.
More recently, The French band has been releasing the 1st part of their new album called Touch on October 27th, and will be delivering two more parts trhought 2018.
