About me
I am a volunteer on Wikimedia projects since 2011. I have also been volunteering in Wikimedia Armenia since 2013 before becoming a staff member. My home wiki is Armenian Wikipedia and I contribute on different wikiprojects under my volunteer account. I am also a founding member of Wikimedia Armenia and Wikipedia Education Collaborative (or Collab) which is a network of international education program leaders who volunteer to share their expertise and experience to support other education programs in achieving their goals.
My work
I have been the Education program coordinator of Wikimedia Armenia from 2013-2019. Wikipedia is being used as a teaching tool in education around the world. Wikimedia Armenia has also joined the international team. I have been working with different educators and students, teaching them how to edit Wiki projects and how to use them as a teaching/learning tool. I have also been greatly involved in the organization of WikiCamps and WikiClubs throughout Armenia having my contribution to the education part of the projects.
