I'm a French-American, living and working in the south of France. I'm originally from the United States but have lived in France half my life. I work mostly in translation and interpreting from French to English but have also worked in the fashion, wine, art and travel industries on both sides of the Atlantic. I love travelling, painting, reading, biking, hiking, sailing and learning. I'm not crazy about spending hours in front of a computer but understand that well written, trustworthy and technically organized web pages can reduce screen time for those accessing the information. I feel that I have valuable information to share with the world and thus have decided to make the leap into this unknown territory despite my inexperience. When I came to France many years ago, I knew little about the geography or language of the country and today I am billingual and can find my way around the country and most of the cities without a GPS or even a map. I believe that immersion is the best way to learn and for that reason, I thus make the leap into the world of Wikipedia.
