Cellcosmet and Cellmen
[modifier | modifier le code]Cellcosmet and Cellmen are Swiss cosmeceutical brands manufactured and marketed by Cellap Laboratoire S.A., a family business in the luxury skin care industry.
The company was founded by Roland C. Pfister in 1982 and maintains its headquarters in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. In 1987, the Cellcosmet (for women) and the Cellmen (for men) ranges were released into the Swiss market.
50 employees are based in Switzerland and 20 work in the USA, either as part of the Cellcosmet-Cellmen sales team for Saks Fifth Avenue department stores or for the company’s American subsidiary, Swisscosmet. Although 90% of production is exported and can be found in 30 countries, the products are entirely designed, manufactured and packaged in Switzerland — 100% Swiss Made. [1] [2]
Innovations
[modifier | modifier le code]The company’s uncommon mastery of both cellular technology (cyto bio-complexes) and plant technology (phyto bio-complexes) is conducted by the R&D department’s four full-time scientists and multi-disciplinary team. [1] [3]
Drawing its inspiration from cellulotherapy, the company is now a major player in the field of cellular cosmetic science.[4] The following scientific discoveries in the world of dermocosmetics are all attributable to Cellap Laboratoire S.A.: CellControl Method Cells obtained through biotechnology are stabilized in their active state for months without the need for any physical shocks — no lyophilization. These cells, biologically intact, retain an extraordinary vital force.[5]
Active stabilized bio-integral cells The active stabilized bio-integral cells contained within Cellcosmet cyto-cosmeceuticals are reservoirs of biological active ingredients, capable of revitalizing and beautifying skin.[4]
Brands
[modifier | modifier le code]What distinguishes Cellcosmet (designed for women) and Cellmen (designed for men) from other luxury skin care products is based scientifically on the distinctive properties of skin: the skin’s physiological age and the intrinsic quality of male and female skin.[5] Both lines combine performance and avant-garde technologies to fight the signs of ageing.[2]
