English: Religious buildings of Russia.
Christianity, the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Surb Khach Church (the Holy Cross Church), Rostov on Don. 1786–1792. The church is attributed to the architect Ivan Starov. On the right: the Armenian khachkar, carved stone stele bearing a cross, 13th c., Donskoy Monastery in Mosocw. The khachkar is the gift of the Catholicos of All Armenians Vazgen I presented to the Donskoy Monastery in 1988. The stamp of Russia, 2.50 rubles, 12 July 2001, PTC Marka Catalogue No 693, Michel No 925, Scott No 6648. Coated paper. Offset printing. Multicoloured. Perforation: comb 11½. Size of the stamp: 37×37 mm. Print run: 350,000. Русский: Культовые сооружения религий и вероисповеданий России. Христианство, Армянская апостольская церковь. Церковь Сурб Хач (Церковь Святого Креста), Ростов-на-Дону. 1786–1792 гг. Церковь Сурб Хач приписывается архитектору И.Е. Старову. Справа: армянский хачкар, каменная стела с резным изображением креста, XIII в., Донской монастырь в Москве. Хачкар был подарен монастырю Католикосом всех армян Вазгеном I в 1988 году. Почтовая марка России, 2,50 руб., 12 июля 2001 г., Каталог ИТЦ «Марка» № 693, Michel № 925, Scott № 6648. Бумага мелованная. Офсетная печать. Многоцветная. Перфорация — гребенчатая 11½.
