DescriptionSeal of Semarang Regency.svg	Lambang Kabupaten Semarang, ditetapkan berdasarkan Penetapan PP No.3Pd.69 DPRD-GR tentang Bentuk Lambang Daerah Kabupaten Semarang (salinan No.2Pd.69/DPRD-GR) dan disahkan oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri dengan No. 102135 – 205 tertanggal 6 Agustus 1971. Berupa perisai segilima yang di dalamnya terdapat nama "Kabupaten Semarang, padi 17 butir, kapas 8 kuntum, bintang, Gunung Ungaran dan Gunung Kendalisada, perkebunan, pabrik, bambu runcing 15 ruas, bintang, Rawa Pening dengan 5 lapis gelombang, siluet Candi Gedongsanga, tiang listrik 12 tingkat kerangka, balok alas berjumlah 4 di atas dan 5 di bawah, serta motto "Dharmottama Satya Praja".
