ETHEL GREY TERRY was born in Oakland, California, in 1898, and received her education in Roxbury, Mass., where she attended Notre Dame Academy. Miss Terry had planned a career as an artist early in life becoming interested in painting. She developed real talent for art, but when an opportunity presented itself for her to appear in David Belasco's stage production of "The Lily," unable to resist the lure of the stage, she made her debut in this play, later being a member of various Shubert Productions. Stock next claimed her attention, and after a varied experience in every section of the United States, she returned to California where she has been cast in the lead in many screen productions. She is a tennis player, loves golf and swimming, and plays the piano. Miss Terry is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 117 lbs., and has brown hair and eyes.
