Chunnel traffic[modifier le code]

Salut,

as you have been the last one to edit commons:File:Chunnel traffic.svg, may I request a new version from you? I added the long overdue 2009 data to the table. Rontombontom (d) 29 septembre 2010 à 22:54 (CEST)[répondre]

Hi,
Current version is downloadable from here.

I’m not the guy who created the charts with a software, I’ve just fixed an SVG minor issue related to colours (using a simple text editor). Best is to ask the initial creator if he still could update his creation, or any user with the required knowledge of Gnupot (but I guess it may imply recoding of all the rest, unless if that software could append data to an existing SVG). — MetalGearLiquid [m’écrire] 1 octobre 2010 à 02:48 (CEST)[répondre]
First of all, thanks for updating the data. The « issue » is was with the cyan colouring which is in contradiction with the purple colour coding a bit further in the code
<a xlink:title="Plot #4"> <g style="fill: none; color: cyan; stroke: currentcolor; stroke-width: 1; stroke-linecap: butt; stroke-linejoin: miter;"> <g transform="translate(354.1, 130.6)" style="stroke: none; fill: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; text-anchor: end;"> <text><tspan>Eurotunnel Truck Shuttle (freight)</tspan> </text> </g>
however, even if there is still a “cyan” specification in your updated code, it seems to not be interpreted with a visible result while using Firefox old version which interpreted cyan marking with Firefox which isn’t anymore an issue with your version; therefore I have nothing to fix, given there is no cyan marking at all.
I don’t know how much work would it be for you to upload an updated French version, based on mine; on my side, I’d have to use download your version, use a text editor to replace all the English text with its translations. But before doing so, I’d like to ask you if it’s possible to slightly adapt the top-left legend frame in order that the purple curve wouldn’t enter anymore in the legend frame. In order to avoid extra issues with the French version, narrowing the frame wouldn’t be a great solution, I’d rather suggest changing the Y-axis max. value from 20 to say 21, which would allow the frame to be displayed above the purple curve without intersecting it anymore. What do you think about it? — MetalGearLiquid [m’écrire] 2 octobre 2010 à 04:10 (CEST)[répondre]
Merci Émoticône / Tons of thanks. — MetalGearLiquid [m’écrire] 3 octobre 2010 à 02:20 (CEST)[répondre]
