It's me..

Habari ?[modifier le code]

Ujambo ? Mimi Msawahili lakini tsi kama wewe. Mimi waki Mayotte. So I don't speak the same swahili as you do : ni si yelewa maneno yake lakini I can't answer in standard swahili (i.e. : tanzanian-kenian).

I think you are confused : our language in Mayotte IS a swahili dialect and its my native language. It is a little bit different from standard swahili (the one spoken in Tanzania, Kenia and I suppose Uganda) but it DOES'NT mean than it is not swahili. It is just an alternate version. So please, stop saying I'm shaming you and stop insulting OUR version. Don't forget : in the end, we're the same people.

When a language is spoken by tens of millions of people, the apparition of dialects is inevitable : the Arabic spoken in Saudi Arabia is very different from the one spoken in Mauritania, the French spoken in France is very different from the one spoken in Canada, the Spanish spoken in Spain is different from the one spoken in Mexico, etc, etc. So it's no wonder we don't speak the same version of Swahili.

When you sent me your first message, I was very happy to find a Swahili "cousin" who would help me to improve my knowledge of the standard version of our language but your aggressive attitude is not very helpful. It's a pity...

Anyway, I have no absolutely no intention to change anything. Kwaheri.Mitch1981 (d) 8 septembre 2009 à 21:10 (CEST)[répondre]
