Problèmes
- La mise à jour de MediaWiki de la semaine dernière a causé des problèmes et a été désinstallée. Il a été impossible de créer des comptes utilisateur entre le 15 septembre à 19 h 10 (UTC) et le 16 septembre à 12 h 50 (UTC). [1][2]
Changements cette semaine
- La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera mise en place sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 20 septembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 21 septembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 22 septembre (calendrier). Il s’agit de la version prévue pour la semaine dernière.
Réunions
- Vous pouvez participer à la prochaine réunion avec l’équipe de l’Éditeur visuel. Au cours de cette réunion, vous pourrez indiquer aux développeurs quelles anomalies vous semblent les plus importantes. Cette réunion aura lieu le 20 septembre à 19 h (UTC). Voyez comment participer.
- Vous pouvez participer à la prochaine réunion avec le comité d’architecture. Le thème de cette semaine porte sur les révisions multi-contenus. Cette réunion aura lieu le 21 septembre à 21 h (UTC). Voyez comment participer.

- Le travail d’intégration de Wikidata au Wiktionnaire va commencer. L’équipe de développement de Wikidata effectue une relecture finale du plan de développement avant le début de l’implémentation. [3]

- Si votre wiki souhaite bénéficier du tri numérique dans les catégories, vous pouvez le demander après une décision communautaire. Regardez comment effectuer votre requête. [4]
- Lorsque vous modifiez du texte et mentionnez un nouveau nom d’utilisateur, celui-ci reçoit une notification si vous ajoutez votre signature. Auparavant, ceci ne se produisait que sous certaines conditions. [5]
- Les utilisateurs sont notifiés s’ils sont mentionnés dans une section dans laquelle vous ajoutez votre propre signature, ce même si vous modifiez plus d’une section. Auparavant, les utilisateurs n’étaient pas notifiés si vous modifiiez plus d’une section d’un coup. [6]
Problèmes
- Le déploiement de la version de MediaWiki qui était censée être déployée sur les wikis il y a deux semaines a de nouveau été annulé en raison de nouveaux problèmes. La version suivante de MediaWiki est à présent déployée sur tous les wikis. [7][8]

- Nous envisageons de cesser d’utiliser Tidy. À la place, l’algorithme d’interprétation du HTML 5 sera utilisé pour nettoyer le mauvais code HTML produit par le wikicode. De nombreux wikis risquent de rencontrer des problèmes. Des ajustements doivent être effectués. [11]
