The 13th Episode of DV Education’s Weekly Online Podcast series themed on Youth Inspiration and Knowledge. The topic of this session is “𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” 𝗠𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗸𝗼𝘁𝗮 is Miss Universe Nepal 2018. She represented Nepal in Miss Universe 2018 and became the first Miss Nepal to enter in the Semi-Final spot in the Miss Universe. She spent most of her childhood in Gorkha, Nepal and later migrated to the United States to pursue higher education and other opportunities. Manita has completed her Public Health degree and managed her Education and Housing by working in 2 jobs. She has been involved in DAYS FOR GIRLS, PROJECT U and SHE’S THE FIRST foundations. She has been actively working to change the stigmas and obstacles that menstruating women and girls face in Nepal much before her pageantry experience.
