Padilla and recognized her contributions and expertise in the field of Genetics which played an important role in the passage of Republic Act (RA) No. 9288, or the Newborn Screening Act of 2004, RA 10747, or the Rare Diseases Act of 2016, and her recent spearheading of the establishment of the Philippine Genome Center. |
