Hello everyone! I'm Kikanakana, a librarian who graduated from the Ecole de Bibliothécaires, Archivistes et Documentalistes(EBAD) at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD).

I have been working at the library of the Centre Africain d'Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG) since 2012.

I am a member of the Library Services to Multicultural Populations Section (MCULTP) of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). I'm also a member of the Association Sénégalaise des Bibliothécaires, Archivistes et Documentalistes (ASBAD) and the Association Internationale Francophone des Bibliothécaires et Documentalistes (AIFBD).

I discovered Wikipedia and its sister projects at the AIFBD congress in Brussels and the IFLA congress in Rotterdam in August 2023 through some librarian colleagues.

I'm motivated and very enthusiastic about the contributions we can make together as part of knowledge sharing and access to information. I've been a Wikimedian since October 2023.
