English: In the framework of his visit to Qatar, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, met with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The Head of State expressed his gratitude for the support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for all the key UN resolutions condemning the full-scale Russian aggression. “I rely on Qatar's continued solidarity with our country during this historic time,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The President emphasized the importance of Qatar's support for the Ukrainian Peace Formula. He also spoke about the preparations for the Global Peace Summit, which will include the release of captives and the return of deported Ukrainians among its topics. The Ukrainian leader thanked Qatar for its assistance in the return of Ukrainian children forcibly deported by Russia and praised its participation in the respective International Coalition. The parties agreed to continue cooperation in this area. During the meeting, they discussed the issues of global food security and the work of the Black Sea Export Corridor. The President thanked Qatar for taking part in the “Grain from Ukraine” initiative and allocating funds for its implementation.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the Amir of Qatar to visit Ukraine.
