English: Hurricane Igor of 2010 began as a tropical pertubation of the West Coast of Africa. It moved on a trajectory well of the coeast aif the Carabians toward Bermuda and eventually reached the Southearten tip of Newfounland in Canada.
This map shows the amounts of rain left by the Hurricane over that Canadian province. Data are from Environment Canada and the image is produced by the the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center of the US National Weather Service
Français : L'ouragan Igor est né d'un perturbation tropicale le 6 septembre 2010. Il a suivi une trajectoire incurvé, passant bien au large des Antilles puis frappant les Bermudes. Il s'est ensuite dirigé vers le nord et son centre est passé à quelques dizaines de kilomètres de la pointe sud-est de la province canadienne de Terre-Neuve.
L'image représente les accumulations en millimètres rapportés par Environnement Canada, colligé par le Hydrometeorological Prediction Center du National Weather Service américain et traduite en français. |
