Some of the subjects dis-cussed are: Requirements of Beam De-sign, Cost of Steel and of Handling,Stress Lines, Designing of Shear Mem-l.ers and Anchorage of Shear Members.Discussions and tables of many tests arealso given. The two appendixes dis-cuss the Anchorage of Web Reinforce-ment and Bond Stress.
