At the far right of the main composition is another hunting scene, in which a Greek and a Persian kill a deer. The terrified animal runs to the right, its bleeding wounds indicated in red. The eyes and horns were probably painted black and two metal arrows were buried in its thigh and right shoulder.

The Greek wears a flowing chlamys, fastened on his chest, his body naked. His hair was ochre brown; eyebrows, eyes and lips, red brown. Pulling the horns, he wrenches the deer's head backwards and is about to bury a javelin in its flank. Traces of his purple chlamys with a yellow lower border are barely distinguishable and show that he was probably a "Personal Companion" of Alexander, one of the elite group of close and noble friends. The purple colour may be a mark of his rank. The distinction attributed to the colour was already established by the reign of Alexander.
