The portrait is a crop of the wanted poster, quod vide. If you believe there is a copyright problem with either of these, please re-read policies and bring your concerns up on the talk pages on Commons. Intervention politique dans les commandites[modifier le code]

A very interesting thing has happened. On 12 June La Communauté alternative des Coréens à Paris wrote to Aurélie Filippetti, Henri Loyrette (ex-Louvre), Catherine Pégard (Versailles) and the president of Festival des forêts in Compiègne. The Koreans in France raised their concerns about French cultural institutions accepting donations in return for exhibitions. Assumably the Cultural Ministry had talks with Festival des forêts with no results. On 30 June Laurent Fabius wrote a letter to the president of Festival des forêts. Quoting Le Figaro: Le ministre a demandé l'annulation "par égard et respect pour la population coréenne endeuillée, et en particulier les familles des jeunes victimes, et dans l'intérêt du festival et de la France".

When a Foreign Minister writes "dans l'intérêt ... de la France" I assume we all know what he means.

Le Monde, Libération, several French art magazines, as well as Korean expatriates in France in an open letter on 12 June to, among others, French Minister of Culture Aurélie Filippetti, have raised their concerns over French cultural institutions accepting self-financed exhibitions in return for donations.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

Yoo Byung-eun, through his company Ahae Press, was a patron of the Festival des forêts, a classical music festival in the forests of Compiègne, northern France. His photographs were to be projected during a gala concert at Théâtre impérial de Compiègne on 4 July 2014. The sponsorship commitment was €10,000.[11][12][13] Following the open letter from Korean expatriates in France to Minister of Culture Aurélie Filippetti and the president of the Festival des forêts, and subsequent talks between the festival and the Ministry of Culture, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on 30 June gave written notice to the festival suggesting the projection should be renounced "out of sensitivity and respect for the Korean people mourning [following the sinking of Sewol], in particular the families of the young victims, and in the interest of the Festival and of France"; the projection and the sponsorship was cancelled on 2 July.[2][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21]La Croix on 3 July wrote that French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, after having intervened in the sponsered projection of Ahae photos at the Forest Festival in Compiègne, would write to Versailles to demand the termination of the Ahae sponsorship there.[17][18]
