The Elephant in the Room est le huitième album studio de Fat Joe, sorti le aux États-Unis.

L'album est produit essentiellement par Scott Storch, DJ Khaled, Cool & Dre et Swizz Beatz. On y retrouve de nombreux featurings parmi lesquels J. Holiday, Lil Wayne, Dre (de Cool & Dre) et KRS-One.

Il s'est classé 3e au Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums et 6e au Billboard 200[5], mais ne s'est pas très bien vendu, le marché étant dominé à cette époque par l'album Trilla de Rick Ross.

La chanson The Crackhouse figure sur la bande son du jeu vidéo Grand Theft Auto IV.
