English: Glacier Noir, situated in Hautes Alpes, France. In the background the peaks of Pic Sans Nom (3.914 m), Pic du Coup de Sabre (3.699 m) and Ailefroide (Pointe Fourastier, 3.908 m, Ailefroide Centrale, 3.928 m). Photo was taken 12/07/2010.
Deutsch: Der schuttbedeckte Glacier Noir in den französischen Hochalpen des Dauphiné. Im Hintergrund die Gipfel von Pic Sans Nom (3.914 m), Pic du Coup de Sabre (3.699 m) und Ailefroide (Pointe Fourastier, 3.908 m, Ailefroide Centrale, 3.928 m). Etwas rechts der Bildmitte vereinigen sich der nördliche und der südliche Gletscherast auf etwa 2.400 m Höhe. Aufnahmestandort ist die linke Seitenmoräne des Gletschers. Die Aufnahme entstand am 12. Juli 2010.
