English: Another scan showing a hymn (Amazing Grace) written using the 7-note shape-note system, in the traditional congregational hymnal format. These shape-note hymnals once completely dominated churches in the South, and are still in use in many churches. Scanned for the Shape note and Independent Fundamental Baptist articles. This scan depicts a newer and cleaner font that the other, older one. |
