L'Épée de Zorro[modifier le code]

Why is this book listed as a translation? Didn't Jean-Claude Deret wrote it himself? And if it isn't a French book, who is the original author? --Newblackwhite (discuter) 16 janvier 2018 à 12:14 (CET)[répondre]

But it's not like Walt himself actually wrote the book, especially since the it was published years after Walt's death. The "Walt Disney" name on the cover just means that the book was commissioned/produced by the Disney company, while Deret's name was not included on the cover because it probably wasn't thought to be so important for readers to know who actually wrote the book. Even in my Italian edition, Jean-Claude Deret is listed as the author, with Michela Finassi Parolo listed as the Italian translator, so it's unlikely that Deret was just translating the book. The same argument can be made for "Zorro contre le gouverneur", which is listed here in the "Traducteur" section, but I don't see any proof that he translated the book instead of writing it, and in my Italian edition Jean-Claude Deret is listed as the author, with Arianna Maiorani listed as the Italian translator. --Newblackwhite (discuter) 17 janvier 2018 à 15:04 (CET)[répondre]
