War est un groupe de funk américain originaire de Californie. Il est notamment connu pour ses chansons Low Rider, Spill the Wine et Why Can't We Be Friends?.
Créé en 1969 sous l'impulsion d'Eric Burdon, War fusionnait des éléments de musique rock, funk, jazz, latino, RnB, et même le reggae.
