The Neptunes est le nom commun des producteurs Chad Hugo et Pharrell Williams du R'n'B & hip-hop américain. Le groupe est originaire de Virginia Beach, dans l'État de Virginie.

Accompagnant la plupart des succès de ces dernières années, de manières officielle ou non, en tant que producteurs, co-compositeurs, chanteurs ou musiciens (participations aux albums de Shakira, No Doubt, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, etc).

Les Neptunes ont sorti une compilation hip-hop et R'n'B intitulée The Neptunes Present... Clones avec des collaborations de Busta Rhymes, Kelis, Jay-Z, Clipse, ainsi que quatre albums au sein du groupe pop/hip-hop N.E.R.D (pour No one Ever Really Dies) : à savoir In Search of..., Fly or Die, Seeing Sounds et Nothing.
